Chris & Mara Swanson, residents of Paso Robles for 9+ years now, are uniquely prepared to take on the task of planting and growing a church plant. Chris grew up in Argentina and is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is a graduate of Moody Biblee Institute in Chicago, IL and holds a B. A. in Bible/Theology. He has worked in Spanish radio, traveled extensively throughout South America, and cultivated many deep relationships among the Hispanic community around the world. He has been a pastor for 10 years - both  in California and Chicago, IL. It is immediately evident upon meeting Chris that his heart beats for a multi-cultural work in this area.Mara also graduated from Moody Bible Institute and holds a diploma in American Inter-Cultural Ministries. She worked as a missionary in the inner-city of Chicago for 3 ½ years, building a powerful ministry impacting over 200 young people each week. Her heart for ethnic diversity is evident in her life travels, ministry work and even the adoption of their biracial child – Tyler.

Raul Flores

Raul Flores, Pastor, with his wife and family assist in many areas at Harvest.  Raul is from Mexico and went to seminary here in the United States.  Raul has much experience and we at Harvest are blessed to have him and serve with us here at Harvest.

Crista Whitney

Crista Whitney joined the staff of Harvest Bible Church in 2005 as Pastor of Children’s Ministries.  She has a passion for seeing kids come into relationship  with Jesus Christ, increasing in their understanding of God’s Word, growing in their love for God and using their spiritual gifts to impact those around them.  Crista grew up on the Central Coast and pursued her bachelor’s degree at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.  While there, Crista was involved in a variety of ministries, including work with inner-city kids.  That experience fueled her passion for working with children and, after graduating, she returned to Paso Robles to continue serving in the area she loves.  In her free time, she enjoys being with friends, traveling, reading, anything outdoors and playing the guitar (or at least trying).  crista@harvestbiblechurch.com
