Some have asked ‘why Saturday church?’…

When Harvest first began, we were invited to rent the facility of a sister church,First Baptist of Paso Robles.  Of course, in order to do this, we needed to choose either Saturday or Sunday evening for our service time.  The leadership team determined Saturday to be the best time for several reasons  … the following day was not a school day for children, we believe it is vital that the family spend time together and Saturday evening gathering would allow a full day on Sunday to do so, and for many of our Harvest family and folks in the community, a Sunday work schedule does not allow them to attend church on that day.  Since that decision, nearly 4 years have passed and The Gathering on Saturdays has become part of who Harvest is.  It is our belief that Scripture does not command that the gathering be on Sunday, but instead to simply to gather as the body, just as the Early Church did –
